The real work of the Association takes place in the regions where our members are able to access support at a local level. Regional representatives are appointed by the members and play a very important role in the servicing of member’s needs. Regions are responsible for holding meetings three or four times per year, plus organising training opportunities and holding training aids for member’s use.
Regional Representatives
The role of the regional representative is an important one for the AVSM as it provides a link for members in an area. The tasks are not onerous and, more often these days, it has been found that two members are willing to share the role of the representative to make it easier to manage.
